Hop on your bikes with the kids and discover Corversbos and the country estates of ’s-Graveland, with plenty of fun stops along the way.
From Kerkbrink (no. 55), cycle towards junction 11. Once you leave the city behind, you’ll ride along a serene forest path and past meadows lined with little ditches, heading towards Natuurmonumenten Visitor Center Gooi en Vechtstreek. Time for a break! While the kids play in the treehouse or have fun with the water pump at Speelnatuur van OERRR, you can relax on the terrace of Café Brambergen with a good coffee or fresh mint tea (junction 8). Afterwards, head back via Noordereinde. Make a quick stop at Sperwershof, known for its beautiful garden and garden shop where you can pick up fresh seasonal vegetables. At junction 74, turn left onto Beresteinseweg and cycle back to Hilversum.

Discover the forests and heathlands around Hilversum on this beautiful cycling route. Start at Kerkbrink (55) and ride via Vaartweg towards Corversbos (11) and Spanderswoud (10). Crossing the Zanderij wildlife bridge, you’ll reach Bussummerheide and Westerheide, where you can still spot burial mounds dating back 5,000 years. Curious to learn more? At Geological Museum Hofland (51), you can see archaeological finds from these ancient sites up close. Ready for a break? Theehuis 't Bluk (53) is a must-stop, with a terrace offering stunning views over Zuiderheide. Continue via junctions 56, 75, 83 and 82 through the forests of Lage Vuursche towards the Hoorneboeg Heath (31). At Bij de Tuinman, unwind in the kitchen garden with a refreshing garden cocktail. Back on your bike, head towards Hilversum Airfield. Keep your eyes on the sky, as you might spot a parachutist or a glider passing by. Cycle through the Kerkelanden district (12) and finish with a final stretch through Corversbos back to junction 11.
