Say farewell to the Hexagon Ensemble

After 36 years of making music together, the Hexagon Ensemble is saying goodbye to its audience. In its final season, the ensemble will perform at the Seinconcerten for the very first time. With Sweet Memories, the musicians look back on the music that has meant the most to them over the years.

Each of the six ensemble members has chosen a personal favourite from their repertoire. The result is a programme featuring music by Mozart, Poulenc, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev and Shostakovich: six composers who have each played their own part in the ensemble’s long history.

After 142 different programmes and performances for more than 324,000 audience members, Sweet Memories offers a musical journey through 36 years of the Hexagon Ensemble. A special opportunity to hear them one more time during their farewell season.
