Discover the media city of Hilversum and water sports mecca Loosdrecht from the Tourist Transfer Point Hilversum Airfield.
Hilversum Airfield is surrounded by nature, south of Hilversum and between Loosdrecht and Hollandsche Rading. It is also called the greenest airport in the Netherlands. The airfield is easily accessible by car and there is plenty of free parking in the public car park on the north side of the airfield. As you enter the airfield through the main gate it will be on your right.
Numerous beautiful routes start here through 't Gooi, through the Vecht region and of course by air. At Restaurant Vliegveld Hilversum you can enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner, while enjoying the view of planes and paratroopers taking off and landing.
With public transport
Hilversum Sportpark train station is located about 4 km from the airfield. Bus 58 runs from Hilversum to Zeist. From the Noodweg stop, it is a 2 km walk to the TOP.
Hollandsche Rading train station is located just under 3 km from the airfileld.
What is a TOP?
You will find various TOPs, Tourist Transfer Points, spread throughout Gooi & Vecht. Here you can park for free, there is (usually) catering for a snack or drink, and from this point you can easily pick up the cycling and walking routes.
