Cycling in Hilversum and the surrounding area is cycling in the beautiful nature. Forests, heaths, and water; as soon as you are out of Hilversum you cycle right in the middle of it. From Hilversum, you will easily find the most beautiful routes via the cycling junctions. We have already devised two cycling ideas for you: 36 kilometers around Hilversum and a Family route of 15 kilometers. Family cyclingroute (15 km)

Nodes 55 - 11- 10 - 8 - 9 - 12 - 55

Get on the bike with your kids and discover the Corversbos and the country estates in 's-Graveland with nice stops along the way. From Kerkbrink (number 55) you cycle to junction 11. As soon as you have left the city, you cycle on a quiet forest path and along meadows with ditches to the visitors center of Natuurmonumenten. Time for a break! While the kids let off steam in the treehouse or with the OERRR Play Nature water pump, you can enjoy a good coffee or fresh mint tea on the terrace of Café Brambergen (number 8). Then back via the Noordereinde. Get off at the Sperwershof, known for the picking garden and the garden shop where you can buy fresh seasonal vegetables. At junction 12, turn left into Beresteinseweg and cycle back to Hilversum.

Cycling tour round Hilversum (36km)

Nodes 55 - 11 - 10 - 36 - 50 - 51 - 53 - 56 - 83 - 82 - 31 - 12 - 11 - 55

Discover the forests and heaths around Hilversum with this beautiful cycling route. Start at Kerkbrink (number 55) and cycle via the Vaartweg (false flat!) Towards the Corversbos (number 11) and the Spanderswoud (number 10). Via the ecoduct Zanderij you reach the Bussummer- and Westerheide, where you can still see burial mounds from 5,000 years ago. The finds from these burial mounds can be seen in Geological Museum Hofland Laren (number 51). Tea house 't Bluk (number 53) is recommended for a short break during the bike ride: from the terrace, you have an amazing view of the Zuiderheide. Via numbers 56, 83, and 82 you cycle through the woods of the Lage Vuursche towards the Hoorneboegse Heide (number 31). At restaurant Bij de Tuinman you can rest in the vegetable garden with a garden cocktail. After that, at Hilversum Airport,you might spot a parachutist or a glider! Cycle through the Kerkelanden district towards number 12. Finally, through the Corversbos back to number 11.
