Art in Movement | Haute Couture & Art Exhibition

Discover how art and fashion come together in Art in Movement, an exhibition by visual artist and designer Laura Notari, created in collaboration with Argentinian designer Valentina Musa.

Large-scale abstract and impressionist paintings by Laura Notari form the starting point for a new haute couture collection. Colours, textures and layers from the original artworks are translated into unique garments, including dresses, suits and coats. The result is a collection in which paintings move beyond the canvas and come to life through fashion.

At the heart of Art in Movement is a personal story about migration and identity. Moving to another country means leaving familiar surroundings behind while carrying memories and cultural influences with you. These different layers come together in both the artworks and the garments, turning the collection into a visual journey across geographical and creative borders.
