Open Day Vonk in de wijk

Step inside the creative world of VONK during this lively Open Day filled with art, workshops, music, performances and inspiring local makers. Throughout the building, artists, entrepreneurs and creatives open their studio doors and invite visitors to discover what they create and do.

Wander through open studios, watch demonstrations and join hands-on workshops for all ages. Children can enjoy storytime sessions with author Charlotte Bruijn, get creative with painting activities or jump around on the Wild West bouncy castle. There are also dance and theatre performances with live music by Vliegend Paard, plus workshops in writing, painting and building vegetable planters from locally sourced wood.

Visual artist Roy Scholten opens his studio and shares a glimpse into his printmaking practice, including the Hilversum Method for print art. Meanwhile, food trucks serve vegetarian snacks and drinks in the garden, while music, art and activities can be found throughout the venue all afternoon long.
