Light Projection | Poetry Week
29 January until 4 February
During Poetry Week, Hilversum once again transforms into a city full of words. OutSpoken projects short poems onto façades and large screens in the city centre. As night falls, lines appear that surprise and move. Poets from the Netherlands and Belgium give their own voice to the theme metamorphosis.
Poetry also appears indoors, with poems shown in the previews before films at the Filmtheater. The city screens on the Groest are joining in as well.
Want to take part yourself?
Write a short poem of up to fifteen words, choose the theme metamorphosis, and email it before 12 January to 035outspoken@gmail.com.
Please include your name, age, and place of residence. All languages are welcome.
You might see your words light up the streets for an entire week.
