Double Bliss: Dowland 400 & Francien Schatborn

After the interval, the atmosphere shifts. Violist Francien Schatborn and percussionist Wim Vos take you on an adventurous musical journey, combining existing works with brand-new compositions. The unique blend of viola and percussion creates a wide range of colours and textures. From meditative and intimate to rhythmic and energetic, the music constantly surprises. Together with fellow violists from the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, they also perform a special quartet by York Bowen.
