The Maris Kwartet

The Maris Quartet presents an atmospheric concert featuring Beethoven’s impressive String Quartet No. 15 in A minor, Op. 132. The ensemble has maintained its current formation since 1999 and is renowned for its warm sound and seamless interplay.

The musicians have appeared in numerous concert series across the country and have released several CDs with works by composers such as Korngold, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, and the Finnish composer Tauno Marttinen. Their recordings have received high praise, including a rare score of 10 from the music magazine LUISTER. The piano quintet album with Rixt van der Kooij was also very well received.

During the concert, the quartet offers accessible insights into the music, allowing audiences to experience this famous Beethoven quartet even more intensely.
