Love becomes a matter of life and death in the queer horror film Leviticus. In a deeply religious town in rural Australia, teenagers Naim and Ryan secretly fall in love. When their community attempts to ‘cure’ them through a conversion ritual, they accidentally unleash a sinister entity.
The creature takes on the appearance of the person you desire most. For Naim and Ryan, this means they must not only fight for their love and freedom, but also escape something that looks exactly like the person they love.
The film is part of Rainbow Night, a monthly film night celebrating queer cinema in collaboration with Gooise Pride. The screening starts with a short welcome, and afterwards you can continue the conversation over a complimentary drink.
