Looking for an outdoor adventure? ’t Laer Forest Playground is the perfect place for children to explore, discover and get wonderfully muddy. Designed for kids aged 4 to 14, this natural playground is packed with exciting features, including a water pump and stream, log balance trails, hidden paths and plenty of trees to climb. One friendly warning: don’t wear your best clothes—staying clean is almost impossible here!
With sand, water, rocks and endless opportunities to play, boredom simply doesn’t stand a chance. One of the forest’s most unique attractions is the metallophone, a musical installation made from tree trunks and tuned metal plates that lets children create their own melodies.
Parents and grandparents can relax on one of the benches or join in the fun. Surrounded by ancient oak trees, rolling hills, sand dunes and pockets of woodland, this is a wonderful place to spend a day outdoors together.
