Dutch rock band Paceshifters pays tribute to the legendary album Nevermind, alongside other Nirvana classics. Expect an explosive live show packed with powerful guitars, building intensity and hard-hitting rock.

Sinterklaas is coming to town

Sinterklaas is coming to Hilversum! Every year, the Netherlands celebrates this much-loved tradition, with Sinterklaas and his favourite helpers bringing gifts and treats to children in the weeks leading up to December 5th. In Hilversum, the celebrations begin on Sunday November 15th, when Sinterklaas arrives by boat at the Old Harbour. His residence at Fotomuseum Hilversum is being prepared for his stay, while shops and businesses across the city are getting into the festive spirit.

Berlage's Vision

Hilversum Town Hall, November 17

Experience the ideals of renowned Dutch architect H.P. Berlage through the eyes of his great-grandson, Vincent Bijlo. In the Citizens’ Chamber at Hilversum Town Hall, he joins the Berlage Saxophone Quartet for a unique mix of music by Bach, Debussy and Roukens, spoken word and striking visuals. A surprising performance that gives Berlage’s ideas a new voice.

On Sunday November 22nd, Popronde returns to the heart of Hilversum! Discover the latest up-and-coming artists performing live at venues across the city, all for free. From high-energy gigs to fresh new sounds, it’s the perfect chance to discover your next favourite artist.

Young Metropole & Jeangu Macrooy

Heuvellaan Hilversum, November 28

Get ready for an evening packed with soul, groove and incredible musical talent. Young Metropole joins forces with singer Jeangu Macrooy for a vibrant mix of catchy pop and dazzling orchestral music. Led by conductor Simon Dobson, expect irresistible melodies, surprising arrangements and plenty of energy on stage.
