Yoga isn’t just for adults – it’s also a wonderful way to spend quality time with kids. Parent and child yoga invites parents and children to explore movement, mindfulness and meditation together. This month’s theme is Easter. From bunnies and family fun to the joy of spring and growth, there’s something for everyone. The class flows through playful yoga poses, age-appropriate partner exercises and a relaxing moment inspired by a walk through the tulip fields.
This is not a typical yoga class. Mindfulness is explored through games and the use of toys. Movement comes alive with songs and stories, while meditation is experienced together using voices and bodies. Parent and child yoga is open to all ages – from very small to very tall. Everyone is welcome, including those who are completely new to yoga. The class is taught in English, with meditation and mindfulness practices in both Dutch and English.
