This month, the city’s most atmospheric wine festival Druif takes over the charming Oude Haven city park. Rainbow Night

Filmtheater Hilversum, June 22

Every third Monday of the month, Filmtheater Hilversum presents a new queer film during Rainbow Night. This month, Jimpa and the Brazilian drama A Wolf Among the Swans are on the programme.

In Jimpa, director Hannah travels to Amsterdam with her non-binary teenager Frances to visit grandfather Jimpa. Set against the backdrop of the city’s canals and queer culture, the film tells a warm and honest story about family, identity and the connection between three generations.

A Wolf Among the Swans follows the remarkable journey of Thiago Soares, who grows up on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro and unexpectedly finds his way from hip-hop to the world of classical ballet. What starts as an unfamiliar path leads him all the way to the Royal Ballet in London. An inspiring story about talent, perseverance and daring to reinvent yourself.

Pillowcase

De Vorstin, June 26

Dive into a night of dreamy guitars and raw energy during Pillowcase, a concept night fully dedicated to shoegaze. This edition is extra special as Crashing celebrates the release of their debut EP 'and that was it', setting the tone for an intense and immersive evening. Expect soaring walls of sound, emotional intensity and a live show that hits deep and lingers long after the final note. From atmospheric melodies to powerful noise driven moments, this is a night made for fans of loud, layered and uncompromising music.

KEI Live

Keiplein Square, June 26 until 28

Experience a weekend packed with music, energy and great vibes during KEI Live. Keiplein Square transforms into a lively festival setting where the atmosphere pulls you in from the very first moment. IkToon Arts Festival

During the IkToon Arts Festival, hundreds of amateur artists showcase the joy of making, performing, singing, dancing and creating.
